PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK DI PT. FLAMBOYAN JAYA MALANG

This study aims to propose improvements in the implementation of quality control in an effort to minimize damage to plastic bag products at PT. Flamboyan Jaya Malang. The results of research, product quality control that have been carried out by PT Flamboyan Jaya Malang, are out of control. Where of the 12 samples taken, there were still 5 samples or 42% of the products failed. Factors that cause disability come from humans, materials, machines, and methods. Damage to plastic bags includes asymmetrical shapes, folded plastic bags and incompatible thicknesses. So the company is suggested to develop quality such as training, evaluation of company management performance, and good production standards. Periodic machine repairs and applying methods in Statistical Quality Control order to find out the types of defects that often occur and the factors that cause them
