ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN ALJABAR PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH PERBANDINGAN

This study aimed to describe students’ algebraic reasoning ability in solving comparison problems. The method of this study used an exploratory approach. The subjects of this study were 6 students of class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu. The instruments were validation sheet of test, validation sheet of interview guidelines, interview guidelines and test sheet. The results of this study were (1) 2 students were at level 3 that consisted of 1 student with high academic ability and 1 student with medium academic ability. (2) 2 students were at level 2 that consisted of 1 student with high academic ability and 1 student with medium academic ability (3) 1 student was at level 0 and 1 student did not have any level, each student had low academic ability
