This study aimed to determine the implementation of a coaching program in deducting children social function barriers at Integrated Service Unit Bima Sakti Child Sanatorium Protections and Services Batu City. Then, descriptive qualitative research was implemented in this research. The data collection technique was using observation, interview, and documentation and for the subject selection procedure was using purposive sampling. The subject in this reserch was people that comprehend the concept of child social protections and services and coaching program that applied to children with social barriers. The concept applied in this research was implementation, coaching, child protection, and social services. In this research, the main concept was implementing a coaching program where the researcher saw the activities that have been done in every program which showed the interaction between the workers, staff, and other functional staff with the children that have social barriers. Besides that, this research also explaining the concept of child protection and services to the children at Integrated Service Unit Bima Sakti Child Sanatorium Protections and Services Batu City. Furthermore, the data analysis indicator executed in this research was data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The finding elucidated that the application of coaching program in deducting the social function barriers had been done according to the Integrated Service Unit Bima Sakti Child Sanatorium Protections and Services Batu City standard. There were six coaching programs, namely problem-solving coaching, physical coaching, social coaching, mental coaching, art coaching, and academic coaching. Based on the research finding, the coaching quality that had been implemented was already good enough, even though in the process is not in accordance with the children needs and available resources. The researcher suggested that the Integrated Service Unit Bima Sakti Child Sanatorium Protections and Services Batu City needs to modify the coaching program and provides professional social workers so that it can be suitable with the implementation indicators
