THE EFFECT OF LOVEBIRD’S SOUND RANGE PEAK FREQUENCY MANIPULATED ON 4000-5000 Hz ON THE GROWTH AND PRODUCTIVITY OF RICE (Oryza sativa)

The current study was aimed at finding out the effect of lovebird’s sound, peak frequency manipulated on 4000-5000 Hz on the growth and productivity of rice (Oryza Sativa). This study was done on two groups of plants, control plant group and experimental plant group in 96 m2. The type of rice used in the present study was Mapan Hybrid variety. Frequency validation from Audio Bio Harmonic (ABH) was done by analyzing the sound wave spectrum using Fast Fourier Transform in Octave 4.2.1. This study was conducted on the growth and productivity of rice. Regarding rice growth, the parameter was the height and the number of tillers, while the yield gross weight was used as the parameter of rice productivity. The result obtained from rice growth and productivity were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2007. The result showed that in the final measurement, the average growth of the control and experimental rice was 119.58 cm and 124.7 cm, there was 5.12 cm difference. Both control and experimental plant have the same amount of tiller, 23 tillers. The productivity of the experimental plant was better than that of the control plant. The yield of 96 m2 with 3200 clumps was 129.324 kg for control plant and 178.254 kg for the experimental plant. The difference in yield between control and the experimental plant was 48.93kg.
