Boris Dochkaev, A Ritual to Remove Fear

Boris talks about how to perform a ritual to remove fear in children by melting lead:It is done as follows. A piece of lead is melted and poured into a bowl of water which is mixed with small amount of salt. The bowl has to be held above the patient’s head which should be covered with a white cloth. Once in cold water, lead takes various shapes that signify the source of fear. This process should be repeated three times. Afterwards, the lead is melted into a round shaped mass, wrapped in a white cloth and put under the child’s pillow for the night.
