Growth in minority populations in the Twin Cities has been rapid in recent decades. The 1990 Census data were mapped to determine locational patterns and changes from the 1980 patterns. The African American population remains the least dispersed, most segregated.Prepared by the Metropolitan Council and the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs, University of Minnesota
