This installation by British Sculptor Tania Kovats is sited along the banks of the duck pond at Jupiter Artland in Scotland. One hundred specimens of water from one hundred rivers around the British Isles have been collected, distilled into one hundred sealed museum quality jars and stored inside a specially built boathouse. Each sample of water holds the memories of time, place and events, preserving them forever. The collection prompts us to consider the landscapes that we hold in our memories and preserve in our psyche
