Metaphor in times of economic change. From global crisis to cryptocurrency: A corpus-assisted study

none1noThe book presents findings of research into the metaphorical framing of the global financial crisis and the cutting–edge technology of cryptocurrency — two key issues in contemporary finance and economics. Using corpus methodologies, and combining insights from Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Systemic Functional Linguistics, the studies in this book probe the effects of the often synergistic patterns of conceptual and grammatical metaphors (nominalisations) on the representation of the two notions in different collections of texts.
