Mevlânâ Celâleddin Rûmî’nin İtalya’daki önemi: Mevlânâ Celâleddin Rûmî ve eserleri üzerine İtalya’da yapılan araştırmalar ve çeviriler

The article examines the studies and translations into Italian of the 12th-13th century Persian mystic poet Jalal al-Din Rumi (also known as Mevlana or Mowlavi). In particular, the focus is on introductory essays in the relevant translations and on how the translators presented the Author to Italian readers. The presentation of the Other is implemented, for example, with a strategy that tries to make the "unknown" known through the "known". Another remarkable approach is the emotional-sympathetic one in which the translator is moved by his beliefs and/or vocations to relate with the mystical thought of the author Rumi.L'articolo esamina gli studi e le traduzioni in lingua italiana relativi al poeta mistico persiano del XII-XIII sec. Jalal al-Din Rumi (conosciuto anche come Mevlana o Mowlavi). In particolare l'attenzione si concentra sui saggi introduttivi delle relativi traduzioni e su come i traduttori hanno presentato l'Autore al lettore italiano. La presentazione dell'Altro viene attuata per esempio con una strategia che cerca di far conoscere l'ignoto attraverso il noto. Un'altro notevole approccio è quello emotivo-simpatico in cui il saggista-traduttore è mosso dalle proprie convinzioni e/o vocazioni nel rapportarsi con il pensiero mistico dell'autore Rumi
