Objectives: The Leucine-rich glioma inactivated 1 (LGI1) protein is thought to be implicated in malignant progression of glioma tumors, and mutations in the encoding gene, LGI1, cause autosomal dominant lateral temporal epilepsy, a genetic focal epilepsy syndrome.
