In my report I discuss the problem about listening to art from the book of S. Givone, G. Magherini (Eds.) “Listening to Art. Figural Arts, Literature, Music”, Nicomp, Firenze 2014. I deal with the theme of listening – a code which certainly characterizes very well both the world of art, in all its diverse forms, and the world of psychoanalysis. In both sectors, the term “listen” is understood in its broadest sense, as a disposition and openness one towards another and their opacity: opacity of the artistic creation and the opacity characterizing the analyst-patient relationship – a relationship which, as we know, is not one way, just as the relationship between a work of art and its public is not one way
