Queens' wealth

none1noQueens’ role in the Ptolemaic monarchy has been recently explored and the direct influence that many queens had in the political life both in the third and second centuries has been stressed as well. But even the more determined and authoritative queen needed to be supported by people that not only believed in the strength of the sovereign, but had, or hoped to have, some advantages.
