Strobilurins have been used in Turkey since 1998 and unfortunately, in the late 2000’s control failures were observed in apple orchards due to intensive treatment. The G143A substitution in the inhibitor binding site of cytochrome b of Venturia inaequalis confers a high level of resistance to strobilurins.
