none8We investigated the question of whether exposure to extremely low frequency pulsed magnetic fields (PMF) can affect DNA methylation levels. We analyzed the methylation levels of 5’untraslated region (5’UTR) of long interspersed nuclear element-1s in BE(2)C cells exposed to PMF or sham. Results show that PMF induces changes of DNA methylation, but these are not probably biologically relevant.noneGiorgi, Gianfranco; Pirazzini, Chiara; Bacalini, Maria Giulia; Giuliani, Cristina; Garagnani, Paolo; Capri, Miriam; Bersani, Ferdinando; Del Re, BrunellaGiorgi, Gianfranco; Pirazzini, Chiara; Bacalini, Maria Giulia; Giuliani, Cristina; Garagnani, Paolo; Capri, Miriam; Bersani, Ferdinando; Del Re, Brunell
