The Associate Project on the EU\u2019s performance in the World Bank has started to fill the gap that exists in the literature on the EU\u2019s role at the World Bank, by exploring the Union\u2019s external action in the phases of decision-making and implementation. It has substantially increased the available knowledge on some crucial dimensions of the EU external performance in development, deepening the existing knowledge in a policy area of \u2018dense\u2019 external intervention of the Union.
