By interlocking the perspectives of organization studies and international entrepreneurship research on routines and learning, this study seeks to develop a dynamic viewpoint on how learning affects internationalization routines and the entrepreneurial orientation of the firm in the context of its international growth. We develop four in-depth case studies of Italian firms of the hi-tech industry and provide evidence that international entrepreneurial orientation and routines can be both recursively affected by experiential internationalization knowledge
