Abstract. This is a book with two maín items: One is logic, i.e. deduction, and the other is learning, Le. induction. Hence, the text is divided in two parts. The first part, consisting of eight chapters, can be considered as a complete textbook in a course of computationallogic. The second part consists of eleven chapters and introduces the fundamentals of learning from a logical point of view
