The aim of the paper is to to investigate the geographical and socioeconomic determinants of both teenage pregnancies and maternal health behaviours among adolescent women in Kenya. We firstly introduce a descriptive analysis aiming at presenting the main trends in fertility and reproductive health behaviour of Kenyan women as emerging from the 2003 and 2008-09 Kenya Demographic and Health Surveys (KDHS).
