The paper describes a large dimension case study in subsidence monitoring, i.e. the survey of the entire portion of the Po River valley contained in Emilia Romagna Region (Italy). In 2005–2007, an update of the geometric knowledge of the subsidence phenomenon in the Emilia-Romagna was conducted using the PSInSAR satellite radar interferometric analysis technique, supported by high precision levelling. A report of the overall activity is presented, together with a summary of the main results achieved
