none3This field trip will examine the sedimentary evolution of the fluvial and coastal systems developed in the Po Plain and in the Venetian region during the late Quaternary. These two areas, while sharing many evolutionary similarities induced by the common eustatic and climatic controls, show contrasting depositional architectures, reflecting the strong differences in the fluvial input and in the syn-depositional tectonic framework. Day 1 - The Venice Lagoon Day 2 - The Adriatic coastal plain Day 3 - The Po DeltanoneA. Amorosi; M. Stefani; A. FontanaA. Amorosi; M. Stefani; A. Fontan
