none4Today the importance of accessibility in e-learning is well recognized. Standards have been defined to guide authors and developers in creating accessible learning materials and learning environments. The aim of this paper is to present our implementation of the IMS AccessForAll metadata specification in the ATutor LMS, as a way to offer content in formats tailored to individual users based on their personal preferences. This paper presents our experiences implementing this specification for the first time in a LMS, describing the challenges and outlining potential improvements that could be incorporated into the next version of the standards.noneG.
