none4Aim of this study was to evaluate tolerability and the healing of ocular tissues using a synthetic surgical glue, a co-monomer of N-Butyl-2-Cyanoacrylate (Glubran2), in perspective to treat lesions of the anterior segment of globe. Lesions performed of the sclera of 6 rabbits where occluded with Glubran2. The eyes where evaluated clinically and histologically. The glue demonstrated a good adhesivity and a good biocompatibility offering a good cicatrization. These results suggest that this surgical adhesive may find application in the surgery of the anterior segment of the globe (cornea).noneMasetti L.; Bellei E.; Dalla F.; Dalpozzo B.Masetti L.; Bellei E.; Dalla F.; Dalpozzo B
