El vestuari d’avantguarda dels Ballets Russos (1909 - 1929)

[cat] Els Ballets Russes de Serge Diaghilev varen suposar el nexe d’unió de molts artistes, vinculats a diferents corrents artístiques. Ballarins, musics, escriptors, pintors, modistes i escenògrafs treballaren junts en produccions espectaculars, que canviaren significativament el panorama de la representació escènica i la dansa. Aquesta col·laboració serà fomentada per el fundador de la companyia -Serge Diaghilev-, qui tenia unes idees molt clares sobre com havia de ser la producció escènica, influenciada per les idees de l’obra d’art total. Aquest treball intenta, a partir de la descripció d’algunes de les produccions més destacades de la companyia, definir les noves aportacions en relació al disseny de vestuari escenogràfic presentades per els diferents artistes d’avantguarda que varen col·laborar en les produccions dels Ballets Russes[eng] The Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev became a way to connect different artists, related to different artistic tendencies. Dancers, musicians, writers, painters, dressmakers and stenographs who worked together in spectacular productions that changed the scene and dance of it’s period. That collaboration was promoted by de founder of the company - Serge Diaghilev-, who had it’s own ideas of how was supposed to be the scene production, influenced by the total art-work ideas. Parting of the description of some of the most prominent productions of the company, this paper tries to define the new approaches to the costume design that the avant-garde artists introduced while working for the Ballets Russes
