[eng] Pain in children is still an unsolved problem, despite the progress achieved in the past 20 years, as shown in numerous national and international studies. At present, there is a vast array of both pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures to relieve the pain that occurs when children are hospitalised. However, these measures are not always applied in the same way, nor does their use correspond in all cases to a clear, unified conception of children’s pain, its development and manifestation.
