The project is based on the recognition of the factory as element of identity for urban shape and architecture. Factories have represented in the last century an extraordinary case of urban unit charaterized by the coincidence of productive buildings, residential areas, open spaces and collective structures. In the project the factory becomes an expression of identity that is evident in design and in relations of morphology, typology, dimensions, use of materials and in defining the elements of architecture of the new buildings
