Health Tourism; is it a possible deseasonalizing factor for the Balearic Islands?

[eng] Health tourism is a sector that is developing more and more. Although there is no exact definition of what health tourism is, trips are increasingly frequent due to a medical motivation. Currently, many countries are committed to this industry as this type of tourism has a great potential for growth and Spain, more specifically the Balearic Islands, could be an international power of this industry since they have ideal conditions of health tourism attraction such as an ideal climate, healthy gastronomy, excellent geographical location and sanitary services of recognized prestige among others. This work has the propose to analyse and investigate if health tourism is an interesting alternative in the Balearic Islands to attract a greater purchasing power tourist that can revitalize and revalue the islands internationally and to contribute with the deseasonalization
