Dynamic DSC scans have been used to study the kinetics of a commercial polyester resin for pultrusion applications. For the thermally activated reaction (uncatalyzed system) as well as for the curing of the systems containing amounts of initiator of 0. 75 phr or more, the behavior could be accurately described by means of a simple kinetic model. The presence of kaolinite or fiber glass at various concentration levels does not affect the kinetics of the reaction
