none2What is MORBO? This is the website for the Research Group in Morphology at the Department of Foreign Languages, Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy. Since early 2004 we have used this website to publish and promote our activities and projects. What can you find at MORBO? We are currently working on MORBOCOMP, a research project on the phenomenon of compounding in the world's languages. We have collected a great number of compounds from (currently) 7 languages. All the collected examples have been inserted in a large database system for fast querying and analisys. Our MORBOCOMP database can be accessed on-line free of charge (at present only a reduced data-set can be queried). MORBO also offers BIBLIO, a searchable bibliography...
