The State - businessman relation has been an essential part in\ua0the study of the characteristics of the process of socioeconomic\ua0development in South Korea. The debates have centered on\ua0the weight of the big conglomerates and on their aptitude to\ua0achieve autonomy of the State, on occasions on a binary approach:control or not control, autonomy or not autonomy.\ua0In this work the objective, with a long term approach, is to\ua0analyze the transformations in the State - businessman relation\ua0in Korea and to overcome this binary position
