The quantitative estimation of the contribution of pelagic organisms into the transformation of organic matter (OM) in the coastal zone of the Black Sea is given. On the basis of the designed elements of biotic balance, namely the diets, production and decomposition quantitative, the mutual relation between bacteria, microalgae and zooplankton are determined.
