We previously showed that anti-nerve growth factor (NGF) antibodies expressed in transgenic mice (AD11) elicit a progressive neurodegeneration, comprising the triad of Alzheimer's disease (AD) hallmarks: cholinergic loss, tau hyperphosphorylation, and amyloid-beta peptide formation.
