Microbiological indices in estimation of self-purification capacity of sea waters

The dependence of the specific growth rate of the sea bacterioplankton population on the population density dynamics in waters of different trophy has been investigated. The parameters of the model of the bacterioplankton population growth in the surface layer are obtained for the oligotrophic and mesotrophic areas of the sea as well as for sewage-polluted areas. The interrelation between the saprophytic microflora (the plate method) and total bacterioplankton (the direct method) in „conditionally pure" regions of the sea shelf and on outlets of domestic sewage is considered. The dependence of the bacterial growth intensity on the medium quality and population density is obtained.Получены параметры модели роста популяции бактериопланктона поверхностного горизонта для олиготрофных, мезотрофных и загрязненных бытовыми стоками районов моря. Определена крутизна начального роста µmax = 2,0 сут-1. Построена обобщенная кривая роста бактериальной популяции с точками перегиба на восходящем участке кривой и выходом на плато насыщения, соответствующим разной трофности вод. Рассматривается взаимосвязь сапрофитной микрофлоры (чашечный метод) и общего бактериопланктопа (прямой метод) в «условно чистых» районах морского шельфа и на выпусках бытовых сточных вод.
