Distribution of heavy metals in superficial layer of bottom sediments of Sevastopol Bay (the Black Sea)

The concentrations of selected trace metals (copper, zinc, manganese) were determined in sediments from the Sevastopol Bay. The degree of sediment contamination with trace metals in this bay varied considerably, depending on pollution load and physical properties of the sediments.Определены концентрации некоторых тяжелых металлов (меди, цинка и марганца) в донных отложениях Севастопольской бухты. Степень загрязнения донных осадков тяжелыми металлами значительно отличается в различных зонах бухты и зависит от близости к источникам загрязнения и физических свойств осадков
