The data on the modern state of macrophytobenthos of the marine protected area, located in the south-eastern part of Crimea (Karadag Nature Reserve, the Regional Landscape Park “Tikhaya Bukhta”, natural monument of local importance “Meganom Peninsula”) are presented. The features of the spatial distribution Cystoseira phytocenoses, biomass of lithophytes and epiphytes, key species and interannual dynamics of macroalgae are described. It was shown that the highest production of phytocenoses is typical for the upper sublittoral zone (at 0,5 - 1 m depth), bottom vegetation is virtually absent near the low boundaries of distribution (at 7 - 15 m depth).
