Для исследования в августе 2015 г. были взяты моллюски из нового участка Сухумской бухты: мыс Красный маяк, район Судоремонтного завода (корабельный док). Рассматривали половые и возрастные показатели популяции. На участке обнаружены особи более старших возрастных групп, чем наблюдалось ранее. Выявлена тенденция формирования карликовой популяции рапаны вследствие ухудшения трофических условий в регионе
