On the mechanism of copper action on the Black Sea mussels

Fat infiltration of the mussel liver develops due to excessive accumulation of fat in the liver cells. A disturbance of the adipose metabolism in the mollusk liver is characterized by a decreased phospholipid content in the liver and by changes in the lipoproteid circulation between the liver and hemolymph. Copper sulphate intoxication cause biochemical changes in the mussel liver which coincide with the most copper accumulation in this organ.В развитии токсической жировой дистрофии печени мидий при интоксикации сульфатом меди главная роль принадлежит нарушению транспорта липопротеидов между печенью и гемолимфой, выходу триглицеридов в составе липопротеидов из печени и снижению синтеза фосфолипидов в печени.
