Restoration of a Vertical Profile of the Total Photosynthetically Active Radiation in Sea by the Effective Wavelength of the Upwelling Radiation

Experimetal data obtained in different regions of the World Ocean allow developing an algorithm for restoration of the vertical profile of the total photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in sea by the effective wavelength of the upwelling radiation (λ↑eff) that is an integral parameter of the natural light flow reflected by the water thickness. A correlation between depths where the total downward irradiance in the PAR region is 10 %, 1 % of its surface value and the value λ↑eff is considered. The suggested algorithm is universal since it permits using different color indices in absence of the whole spectrum of the upwelling radiation. The obtained results make it possible to classify waters after Erlov in case of passive sounding of see in the optic range of the wave-langth.На основе экспериментальных данных разработан алгоритм восстановления вертикального профиля суммарной фотосинтетически активной радиации в море по эффективной длине волны восходящего излучения, являющейся интегральным параметром диффузно отраженного водной толщей естественного светового потока. Предложенный алгоритм носит универсальный характер, позволяя при отсутствии всего спектра восходящего излучения использовать различные индексы цвета. Полученные результаты дают возможность классифицировать воды по Ерлову в случае пассивного зондирования моря в оптическом диапазоне длин волн
