The gills of scorpion fish were investigated in the bays of Sevastopol-city and near Tuapse-city using histological methods. The number and degree of abnormality of the gill epithelium in sea scorpion increased in the direction of Balaklava bay – Cossack – Streletskaya. In the sea scorpion in Tuapse-city, violations of the gill apparatus were insignificant.Исследовали жабры морского ерша в бухтах Севастополя и под Туапсе с использованием гистологических методов. Количество и степень аномалий жаберного эпителия у скорпены возрастали в направлении Балаклавская бухта – Казачья – Стрелецкая. У скорпены в районе Туапсе нарушения жаберного аппарата были незначительными
