Prognosis of selenium providing level of population of Russia and Ukraine on the microelement content in wheat grain

The main source of selenium (Se) for people of Russia, countries of CIS and Baltia has been shown to be cereals. Monitoring of Se content in wheaten flour used in different regions has been made. Equation of dependence of average level of Se in people blood serum on average concentration of Se in grain has been calculated. Regions with low Se-providing have been identified.Показано, что основным источником селена (Se) для жителей России, стран СНГ и Балтии являются зерновые.
