Direction of Arrival (DOA) techniques have been widely used in a variety of applications such as radar, sonar and image processing. Especially in military communication, precise estimation of the DOA, incorporated with smart beam-forming techniques, can provide useful solutions for interference mitigation and jammer identification. Traditional DOA estimation techniques require large number of snapshots of the incoming signal to accurately deduce the DOA of an impinging wave, which can significantly increase the computational complexity of the algorithm.
