The paper aims to frame the most recent trends in Italy on the re-organization of primary care services, trying to explore whether LHAs are adapting to the new health needs of the population. More precisely, through the analysis of several case studies, the paper describes the managerial tools used in the most innovative organizational models implemented in LHAs and seeks to understand what kind of changing process these innovations brin
