The special issue focuses on the reconciliation policy changes in 9 countries (8 EU members and 1 non-member) by adopting an Europeanisation focus. The findings show that the policuy changes are connected to (weak) European pressures only in those cases where domestic relevant policy actors are supportive of the EU policy proposals
