Goal and agent orientation in Requirements Engineering has been recognized as a very promising approach. In fact, by adopting notions as those of Agent, Goal, Intentional Dependency and so on, it is possible to smoothly re ne high-level requirements into detailed descriptions of the system-to-be. This paper introduces a requirements engineering framework based on the notions of Agent, Goal, and Intentional Dependency. The framework represents a powerful tool for describing the organization ontology and capture high-level organizational needs, to transform them into system requirement
