Collaboration in the events literature: a co-authorship network study

This paper examines characteristics of the co-authorship network derived from an examination of the events literature found in major academic journals and databases. This network exhibits a low density with few clusters of interlinked authors. These clusters are primarily based around particular universities and examination of their location suggests the importance of geography in forming co-authorship linkages.
