Literature lack information about relation between work engagement, stress at work, job demands, job resources and proactive behavior. Therefore this research was aimed to determine importance of work engagement and stress at work appointed to job demands, job resources, proactive behavior and types of proactive behavior connections. Group of people from 18 years old to 61 years old were surveyed using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale–3, Subjective stress scale, scales of Questionnaire on the Experience and Evaluation of Work and Proactive work behavior scale (80 – men, 176 women, N = 256).
