Party oriented professionalization theory has been used only a few times as a tool for political campaign analysis. Not to mention, it was only utilized in political contexts of fully industrilized western democracies. Even though, the professionalization theory has brought a new light in the field of political communication, there is a lack of research of political campaigns in the postsoviet block. Thus this work will focus on four parties in Lithuania and measure their professionalization using the CAMPROF index. The paper aims at objectively measuring the professionalization level as well as present some findings of the tendecy.
