Relationship between Organized Group and Criminal Association Concepts in Criminal Law This paper analyses various aspects of the relation between the concepts of organised group and criminal association within criminal law through the use of the comparative method. The aim of the work is to analyse these forms of conspiracy and their signs, and to determine, what links, and what separates the concepts of organised group and criminal association, as well as to determine how these forms of conspiracy are separated within the criminal law of the Republic of Lithuania. The first part of main body reviews the institute of conspiracy and its characteristic traits, as well as forms of conspiracy, and their historical development in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. The second part of the main body is dedicated to the analysis of the concepts and signs of both organized group and criminal association concepts, established in the current Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, compared to the signs of concepts provided in both international and EU legislative acts. The third part of the main body analyses the relation between organised group and criminal conspiracy, presenting both organised group and criminal conspiracy as cases of organised crime, and determines the similarities and differences between organised group and criminal conspiracy within the criminal law of the Republic of Lithuania, according to the established signs of both these concepts. Each part of the main body distinguishes the prime problematic aspects, while the author’s opinion is reflected in the conclusions of this master’s thesis
