Library - a partner of the publishing houses?

The article seeks to present publishing production of Vilnius University Library Heritage Collections and Research Centre in 2010-2014 and to substantiate why catalogues of exhibitions or particular historic collections and publication of source-books could and should be valued as a scientific publication. Research articles, studies, forewords included into these publications reveal their originality, value, possible use, importance in the context of Lithuanian science and culture.
