The prevalence of aggression, depression and mania was evaluated in Lithuanian imprisonment offices by means of the following questionnaires: Beck depression scale, Bas- Darki test and Altman self- rating mania scale. Data was collected from these Lithuanian imprisonment offices: female prison in Panevėžys, mental hospital in Rokiškis, I and II prison in Vilnius. 576 persons filled in the questionnaires: 324 imprisoned persons, 88 mentally ill persons and 164 persons employed in prisons.
