Summary Theme of this master thesis is The problem of derivational meaning. The problem – there is not single definition of meaning in Lithuania and in the global linguistics. It is because meaning is the most fundamental notion of science. It is very important to decribe the factors wich determine the derivational meaning. One of the most valid implements of this reseach are the theory of prototypes and the theory of verification of sign.
